All About Us
Our limited edition prints are steeped in friendship. Our editor and designer, Jacqueline Alexander, went to school with the graphic artist, Simon Ecob, and their friendship has lasted too many years to mention!
Simon Ecob is an accomplished cartoonist and graphic artist. Producing comic related content for over thirty years, Simon continues to enjoy a long association with Viz, Britain’s premier ‘not as funny as it used to be’ adult comic, their words, not ours! He is the principal artist on the Jack Black and his dog Silver series as well as drawing numerous other action strips in a retro 50s / 60s British comic style.
Simon has produced artwork for a number of children's books for Buster published by Michael O’Mara, including the best selling The Boys‘ Book of Survival, The Boys‘ Book of Spycraft, The Boys‘ Book of Adventure and Boys’ Only! How to Survive Anything. Other books illustrated by Simon include James Mays’ Man Lab for Hodder & Stoughton; Digusting Jokes for Kids; and School Jokes for Kids published by Egmont.
Jacqueline Alexander has worked in design communications for over 30 years, and has worked with most of her clients for nearly as long! Heading up ID41, a creative solutions company providing design-led marketing strategies for a broad range of companies and individuals, Jacqueline brings with her strategy analysis and development, creative direction, concept design development, content creation and copywriting.
Jacqueline has worked with Sir Geoff Hurst for over 16 years helping with digital communications for both commercial and charitable projects. Over the years, Jacqueline has been privileged to get to know Geoff and his wry humour, and his humility.
And while Sir Geoff is immensely proud of the three iconic goals scored in the World Cup Final 1966, a record that still stands today, he will always tell you that it is the team he represented that means most to him. As the last man standing, sadly all Sir Geoff’s teammates have since died, he is keen to represent the achievement of the whole team.
“Clearly, I will never forget that day, but it is the camaraderie and respect in the team that I am most proud of, it was their talent that resulted in the win, with a touch of tenacity, we didn’t give up for one moment, in fact, I didn’t even know the third goal was scored before the whistle until I looked up at the scoreboard during the pitch celebrations!"
